Who We Are: A Snapshot of Edmontonians indicates that 77% of us feel safe in our neighbourhoods, but only 61% think Edmonton is a safe place to live.
What makes you feel safe in your neighbourhood? In Edmonton?
What do you think could be done to improve safety within certain areas of the City?
How can individual citizens help to create a sense of safety for others in the community?

When I watched the video about safety on edmonton.ca it made me think that safey is more than being crime free. It's having fire services and bylaw people that help keep order in our community. Perhaps we are so accustomed to living in an orderly city that we take that for granted and focus instead on crime -- crime is bad, but it is the exception not the rule in Edmonnton. I'd say I feel safe in this city 98% of the time. And I do public transit
